How much does your boat draft?
« on: October 31, 2007, 10:07:58 PM »
today I put 200 lb of corn on the rear of my 15'6" Classic, it drafted 7.5 up the angle of the tramsom, was actually less than I figured it would draft. I put in at Farris Creek Bridge and went up to General Lowes Island, never had to get out and never drug bottom. With 150 lb it drafted only 1/2" less.

Motor I'm interested in weights 165 lb.

Not much. This photo shows the boat in water that would barley cover your boots. With it loaded right I can float in around 4" and run wide open in 3".

Wherever the standard of freedom and Independence has been or shall be unfurled, there will her heart, her benedictions and her prayers be.

But she goes not abroad, in search of monsters to destroy.

She is the well-wisher to the freedom and independence of all.

She is the champion and vindicator only of her own.
