Have  Scott rod that will not come apart. Stuck tight, and do not want to damage it. Any suggestion?

I've had this happen on a couple of occasions. So, I bought a set of the checked foam bottle/jar openers.  You can get them at any grocery store. They work very well and I always have a set with me in my bag....just in case.

Parifin wax or oil from your nose.
