I ordered my Riverhawk a couple weeks ago!
« on: March 06, 2006, 09:20:40 PM »
I am stoked as hell about this boat! It's the floored pro caster B60. I can’t decide what outboard to go with, a 2 stroke jet or a 4 stroke <<<WHISPER QUIET>>> Nissan prop job..... HELP!!

Here’s a link with some pics of the Riverhawks.

I ordered my boat from TN guide and super nice fellow Chris Nischan.

Are you replacing one or adding to the floatilla?

read: gheenoe for sale?
Yesterday, I was at the bottom. I was at the bottom of a valley, in the river. Then my eyes hiked up the mountains to the snow capped peaks. I thought, "When I am at this lowest place I can be, standing in a river, everything is looking up."

Yes the Gheenoe is for sale. I will sell it with the seats, trolling motor and 3 hp gamefisher air cooled motor for $650. No trailer!
Or
Alone with seats 400.
With trolling motor and seats 475.

I am interested. Depends on when you are ready to cash out. I have to count my piggy bank contents. I forgot what model you have.  Got a picture?

How much you think a trailer would be? I gotta have a trailer. Multiple herniated discs won't let me wrestle a boat around. Had to sell my canoe because I couldn't wrestle it into and out of the truck  myself without being down for a couple of days.

PS-It does have a T-Top, rocket launchers, poling platform, baitwell, planer boards, stripping basket, rod holders, combination radar/depth finder/gps/speedometer/cell phone/dish network tv/tivo unit and a Keg-0-Rator for that price, doesn't it?  ;D

Ahh,,,, it's no wonder you hurt your back, if your canoe was rigged like this... ::)

I wish I could get that lady I'm married to interested in the fine art of portage. That would be grand.

Hey Mike,

I'm not a buyer. Looks like I was a little anxious.  My wife got "downsized" from her job Friday, so we're in a holding pattern financially speaking. Gotta wait and see what the future holds before I buy any more toys.

Ha-Only took me from March to October. But I also got to go from a small gheenoe to a bigger RiverHawk.

Sugar Callous is still out of work (purely by choice  ;)) and  we sold one house and bought another since this thread started.

Funny how things work out.

What we think are unanswered prayers, aren't neccesarily. Sometimes we don't listen close enough to hear the answer. Sometimes we don't wait long enough to hear the answer.

Mike,

Did you get a Riverhawk and a Supreme? Seems I'm not the only boat and rod poor person on this board?

If anyone is ever down on the Elk during a weekday, I'd like to ride across a couple of gravel bars, heck you don't even have to take me fishing, but then again I could take you. ;)

Hey woodsman...was talking to Caney buff about making a trip down there since the Caney is running almost full bore.....we are both retired, and more tired than retired.  May give you a shout about some of that Elk fishing one day soon....
