Hey you gtting inot any smallmouth on the lower elk as of late? You fish much in the Kelso area?

I don't fish much around the Kelso area, but I plan on changing that come 2008, I also plan on getting much lower in the river system below Fayetteville.

I've been told that the people that have the canoe rental below me, have caught some good fish this past year. He just moved back from Florida, was originally from this area.

I have fished in that area and prior to the drought there were some good smallie coming out of  there... we need to take one of our gheenoes down there come spring.

just say the word, I'm off Monday-Thursday. Do you know anyone with a helicopter? I can't find a place to take a trailered boat out or find anyone who knows of such a place from Harm's Dam to the Alabama state line.
