Greenway Cleanup
« on: March 04, 2008, 05:47:24 PM »
I'm organizing a cleanup of the greenway from Priest Dam to the Kohl's trailhead on Saturday March 22nd from 8am-Noon.

In past greenways clean-ups, some folks have put on waders and gotten into the water to pull out old tires and other trash.

If any of you would like to help in the cleanup effort, feel free to send me a PM, or just show up that morning ready to get dirty.

I just wanted to give an update... a group of volunteers spent the morning cleaning up the greenway on Saturday.   We pulled out a lot of garbage, and the West bank of the river is looking good!  Thanks to all those who helped.

We will do another cleanup in the Fall.   If anyone is interested in helping out, give me your email address & I'll contact you when we're organizing it.

I echo what Grumpy said. I'd like to get more involved with projects like this but with the price of gas and food and everything else on the rise when I'm not working one place ,, I'm working another..
