TFO Rods

I recently bought my third TFO rod, and I want to say that I am pretty impressed with them. I also have Sage, Orvis, Redington and have owned some others. I cant even pick up the others when I am in the boat. I have heard people say in the past, TFO was a GOOD ROD FOR THE MONEY.      I disagree with that statement. I say TFO is an awesome rod, PERIOD.      Just because the rod is a little less expensive, dont be fooled, they will perform. If you dont believe me , do what I did, and take your reel with the line you like to cast, and go see Leo and Grumpy. We took a couple of rods to the park and put them to the test :o WOW , impressive, these rods are cannons. If you are looking for a high performance rod that will perform, look , and cast the TFO and you will buy it. ;D

Jarrod, do you have a 10 or 12 weight TFO? If so, how do you like that for heavy gear?

Steve, I have a 10 coming. I do have a 9 wt. and it will throw anything I ask it to. I love it and it is a cannon. ;D 375grain line with ease. Fast and powerful, I cant wait to get my hands on the 10 wt. You are welcome to cast it anytime.

Sweet, would love to cast it this coming weekend. I have a feeling there may be fishing in the lower end of the river.  ;D

Just picked up my Teeney TFO 10' 7wt from Cumberland Transit and put it through its paces this weekend....
The rod cast well and will take my streamer and heavy nymphing in a new direction. Does cast heavy stuff with ease and will take a few more trips to get used to.

I have a Teeny 10ft. 5 wt. and I love it as well. I like the feeling in the rod , I like the speed of the rod, and I like its mending ability out of the drift boat.

You can not go wrong with any of their rods in my opinion.  I personally don’t own one regretfully…  However both fly shops I have worked at sell them and I have had a chance to cast almost every model and love them all.  Check them out at   http://templeforkflyrods.com/index.html  or go cast one at CT.

I've got a TFO 10 wt that hasn't seen the water yet.  If the weather is ok, it is scheduled to at least get christened Tuesdays at PP.  Maybe it won't be a virgin this weekend!

If you dont get to fish with it Tuesday, you probably wont want it anymore. :o Just bring it to the get together and throw it in the white dumpster (dodge)and I will see to it that it gets to the right place ;D

I better specify , The dumpster is very short and only has 2 doors. ;D I would not want you to mistakenly put it in Grumpys 4 door. ;D

I'm calling TFO this morning, missed several rods/tubes on laast weeks order.
Jarrod a 10 weight X came in if you want to throw it, i'll check on the r this morning.

TFO's are sweet rods.  I just picked up 3 more.  TiCr X's in 5,6, and 8wts.
