Who else is tired of the wind?
« on: March 30, 2008, 11:00:52 PM »
I am VERY tired of all this wind.  Don't mind the overcast and a little rain but I have had my fill of wind for a while.  Hopefully the temp keeps coming up so I know what to do to catch some fish.  Caught 1 lm bass today, couldn't find or get the striper/hybrid to bite today, probably should have when further up the lake.  Hope everyone else has a better "catching" day than I did.  The boat ran great and I guess I had fun.

Go catch a fish,

Gary

I am with ya brother. A small breeze isn't bad, gale force is the pits.

Amen - I would rather fish in the rain than in the wind.

It does seem like we've had more than our share of extremely windy days this spring, doesn't it?

Yeah seems like every time the rain finally quits and I have some spare time, the wind picks up.  I can Spey cast a little (and almost always use 10' rods), but it's been hopelessly windy lately....hopefully we'll get some warm calm days soon!

YES IT DOES! >:(

Yes I will be the first to say that wind does suck. I ve been fishing in it for 2 yrs. I seen that a belguim cast tends to help out some that plus ducking at the right moment  ;D
The more I fish the more I realize it isn t about the fishing.  The older I get the more I realize it is about the moments God has hand crafted just for me.

I asked God to turn the fan off and he said he couldnt because of rising energy cost.   :-\  However,  I agree, I dont mind rain, but wind and a 1ot hook scares me a little

Yesterday, I was at the bottom. I was at the bottom of a valley, in the river. Then my eyes hiked up the mountains to the snow capped peaks. I thought, "When I am at this lowest place I can be, standing in a river, everything is looking up."
