Catskills trip

Just got back from the Catskills on Monday evening. Fishing was slow, but we had a lot of fun and fished some beautiful streams.
We got up there last Wednesday night, and it started raining around 10 pm and didn't stop for a day and half. All the streams were high and muddy, so the fishing was slow. I only caught 3 fish, but I was having enough fun that it didn't bother me.
We fished the Willowemoc, West Branch of the Delaware, Beaverkill, and the Neversink.
It's a beautiful area with beautiful streams. I'd go back in a second if I could, and I'd recommend it highly.

Cool.
I have never been to that part of the country. Maybe someday.
Welcome home by the way.

Yesterday, I was at the bottom. I was at the bottom of a valley, in the river. Then my eyes hiked up the mountains to the snow capped peaks. I thought, "When I am at this lowest place I can be, standing in a river, everything is looking up."
