2 Days w/Racer X

I spent 2 days in E. Tennessee with Racer X  (AWESOME) We floated on Wednesday in the Hog Island(which is a fine boat I might add) and trout fished. I dont keep a count , but we caught fish until we were plum tired. I must admit them trout were fiesty. I had a blast.
Thursday, we floated in the Star raft and fished smallmouth. I had a blast at it also. Again, I dont count , but we caught fish until I was tired again. ;D
I dont know what more I could ask for in a buddy. Racer picked me up at my condo 7:30 am, he drove me to river, furnished an excellent shore lunch both days, he put us on all kinds of fish, and he is an excellent oarsmen. 8)


 Racer, I thank you for a fine two days on the water.  First Class!!!!!

Glad to hear you guys got a work out. Sure is nice for a change in scenery ever once in a while. You couldn't have picked a finer person to spend a couple of days on the water with.

I forgot what it was like to wade wet.

The high here today was 45F, the river was 41F.

Still in waders and fleece. A few little fish on streamers in the soft water. Can't get it down quick enough to find the big boys in this high and fast water. May have to slip on a half ounce egg sinker above the leech.  :o

Yesterday, I was at the bottom. I was at the bottom of a valley, in the river. Then my eyes hiked up the mountains to the snow capped peaks. I thought, "When I am at this lowest place I can be, standing in a river, everything is looking up."

Looks like you all had a good day. The bows are getting pretty healthy in that river. Wish I could have joined in on the fun, it was pretty hot that morning I passed you and Rusty heading to the river.
