Old Hickory Lake Report 7/28/08
« on: July 28, 2008, 09:57:46 PM »
Fished Old Hickory again today from 5:00 pm till 8:30 pm.  Not as great as the other day.  Highlights; biggest Lm Bass was about two pounds, biggest Smallie was about 13", a few large warmouths on top, some decent bluegills and a couple of small spots.  Fished the jumps but no luck. And of course the fish story.  Threw a BIG bugger at a dock and Bam!  Large fish!  Lost large fish, dang.  All in all, topwater was slower but subsurface was decent, worth going.

Go catch a fish,

Gary

Gary I hear the Hybrids and Striper are tearing it up below OH dam.
Argue for your limitations, and sure enough, they’re yours

That would be Saturday morning, if not Thursday afternoon.  Thanks for the info though.  They usually (in my history there) aren't that big but they are still fun.  If they aren't there the skippies and just the usual will be.

Thanks,

Gary
