Took my daughter with me today and fished for about an hour and a half. We caught some warmouths, bluegills and a small bass. She was fishing her ultralight rod and she finally said the magic words" I want to learn how to flyfish" I almost fell out of the boat! I've been waiting for years for her to say that. But I'm going to do her a favor and get someone else to teach her how to cast. That way she won't do all the wrong things I do. She's been tying flies with me occasionally but hasn't really wanted to throw them. All in all a GREAT day on the lake.
