Elk River Blow Down

I just came off the water....I am whipped, but FYI there is a blow down all the way across the river on the right side of Van Zant Bend island. I we had to pull the boat down the left side.

I just wanted to give everyone a heads up, do not want to see anyone get in there and get hurt.

how large of a tree? multiple limbs or ?

I did not wade all the way down to it, but it looked to be about a 15" tree (30" using the Caney Fish Conversion Measuring Chart) and it is a fresh green tree, so the limbs are all in the river. It blew down from the island side.  Rhonda said last night she would call the county and see about getting it removed.
