Fished the Hiwassee the other day with Melissa. Thanks to Ronny "Grumpy" I had the knowledge of a few good spots. However, between my lazy butt
not getting up and a not so good map by the time we got turned around and found them we did not have much time to fish those spots. We saw a great looking pull off and fished for a time... Long story is Melissa has the best ability to find and catch the smallest fish in any given river I have ever seen. At least she got some first.
This was our first trip up there and I thought the Caney fork was clear... I need to get some camo. Everything we got was on a caddis.
I would also thank the guy that helped us at the Hiwassee angler. I did not catch his name.
Ronny, I dont know how it happened but Melissa has some how taken posession on my Helios and left me with my old t3.
You should see her cast it. She loves that new rod.
