They put folks in jail for doing drugs in public boys....

Fishing was OK today, they must have dropped a bunch of little browns in on Wed. because they're all over the place.  Catching dropped off after the front came thru about 1PM.  Still managed a bunch of fish in 4 hours. :P

Fished the Elk Friday and Saturday -off from what it had been fishing, water very dingey.  On Saturday the gravel bar just below the dam was standing room only with 15 boats/canoes being released all at one time.  Once all the boats got in the water it was a Conga line all the way down the river.

Yep, that dang Elk is fishing really hot!  If you can get up above paintball a mile or so, thats where all the big fish are.  It appears there's been some excellent dry fly fishing in that area due to the mid afternoon caddis hatch.  Can't wait to get back down there.

why in the world would you want to fish the Elk, when the world class Blue Ribbon Duck River is just a watershed away ???

Dangit Dave.  I thought I had it all to myself!  Just don't tell anybody about the trout candy.  That's all they grow in those 2 rivers, trout candy.
