Camo'd up

Spotted this fella on the Caney and the Admiral got a shot of it. I tried to, but my memory card was home in my laptop....Doah! Looks like he's in camo and on the hunt...

SWEET SHOT GORDIE!!

Magnificent creatures.  I always stop  and stare in amazement.
Yesterday, I was at the bottom. I was at the bottom of a valley, in the river. Then my eyes hiked up the mountains to the snow capped peaks. I thought, "When I am at this lowest place I can be, standing in a river, everything is looking up."

Nice picture, that must be the young one. He's finally getting his white head and tail feathers. Did it let you get really close?

We actually ran by it when I first spotted it. We then drifted down back to it for the pic. It circled over us before it flew off.

Andy got back out and got this pic from across the river from where we saw the first one.
