Thanks Mike. Consider it sold pending anything drastic happening.

During my shopping the last few weeks I put out many feelers. I just got an email back from "The Kingfisher" guy that designed the Riverhawk Kingfisher offering me a deal on his Kingfisher Demo boat down on Lanier.

If anyone is interested I can put you in touch with him. I told him I had just committed this morning to my local (Mike) deal. I would imagine Chris Nischan could  probably cut just as sweet a deal here in town though.

I figure it this way--I got a nearly brand new rig. Rigged out and broken in by somebody that takes care of their stuff and knows what they are doing, for a less than brand new price. Thanks Mike. I have the $10.00 down payment in the mail to you and hopefully I'll have the first week's payment of $10.00 won't be late. Depends on whether or not my paycheck bounces every Friday.  ;D

So which model Supreme are you talking about and you probably ought to have they lay in a couple extra layers of cloth on the bottom while they're at it.  ;D

Reminds me of a George Jones song--"Long and Lean, every young man's dream, she turns every head in town!"
Yesterday, I was at the bottom. I was at the bottom of a valley, in the river. Then my eyes hiked up the mountains to the snow capped peaks. I thought, "When I am at this lowest place I can be, standing in a river, everything is looking up."

Hey Ron that reminds me of a sign I saw in one of those "we tote the note" car lots that used to be everywhere here in town. It read, "The best way to get back on your feet is to miss two payments". ;D

I am looking at the 2060 with the tunnel. I am not going to eliminate something else if it comes along but I got my heart set on a Supreme right now. 20' long 48" floor and 63" beam.

I think you’re going to really love that boat Ron. I know I hate to see it go. :'(

BTW I may have to run to Mtn Home Arkansas to get it. That place (White River)sure would be a good place for a RiverHawk maiden voyage.... ::)

Problem with missing two boat payments--You ain't back on your feet, your treading water. I don't know how long I can tread water.

If we hauled the riverhawk over there to pickup your boat, we'd have two boats and one truck. We could tag one trailer to the other I guess, or just take the new boat on it's maiden voyage on it's home waters!!  ;D

Congrats on the new (to you) vessel Mr Snow!! I hope you have many trouble free, fish filled relaxing days in her chasing the quarry of your preference.   Got a name for it yet? I KNOW there're some good 'uns swimming around in that creative noggin' of yours!  ;D

One of these days.

Thanks for the good wishes.

It is currently dubbed the "SS Minnow4Now"  Sugar Callous didn't particulary care for that name. For some reason she thinks it will be bad luck.  I never heard of a ship being shipwrecked twice, I'm thinking it's good karma. My creative juices haven't had the chance to flow lately.  I'll work on it.

Took Sugar Callous out on JPP from Stones West last Saturday afternoon. She really liked it. Not enough to want to go on a 12 or 16 hour fishing expedition, but enough to be enthusiastic about having it. I was OK with the speed and HP of the 15 Honda til I read the USCG sticker that said it was rated for a 20 Horse. I immediately fell into a deep little motor syndrome and longed for 5 more horses. Oh well.

We need to figure out a way to strap this one onto yours. Take it up the Caney as far as Bay Champ will go, then Hawk the rest of the way up to catch rainbow bait.  Course, I guess a trout farm is much simpler.

I don't think I want to be in this boat below a dam fishing the boils, but it's pretty cool for other stuff.

A trout farm might be easier, but it's sure not as much fun!  ;D

I like your suggestion Ron. Sounds like a lot of fun and I'm game anytime we can work out the schedules. If we could figure out a time for it I'd sure like to take that sort of trip on los rio Cumberlos up above the Obey....I've been itching to explore up there for a while now!
