I never bothered reading all the noobs arguings' on the Southeast forum, so I don't know. I've helped my buddy Shane build a couple on his pimped-out rig at 4am at the Charlotte show, but I still don't know (could've been all those beers between 8 & 4...). You guys give me the straight dope: what good are furled leaders? What are the ads/disadvantages? What materials are you making them out of?
I figured since they have increased surface area per volume, that they land soft; I also figured since they have a nice even taper, that they turn over nicely. What else? Hope I didn't open a can of worms...
