handy photography tool?
« on: October 23, 2008, 12:14:15 PM »
I'm no photog, so don't know whether or not this would be helpful, but I can see it working in principle to steady a shot.

You could make one for little or nothing.   Wouldn't an elastic version work better?  I dunno.

Looks like a 'cool tool' to me.   The rest of this blog is definitely worth a review as well.

Well there you go.

You could even use a large zinger to tidy up the system.  I've seen "lighter leashes" with dacron cord at the gas station that would probably suffice.

Go all out and get your own Dale Jr. edition  http://lighterleash.com/enter.php

Bolt, epoxy, a length of fly line and you're set.   :P

LOL, I think the Dale Jr. touch would be fantastic!  ;D

Personally, I would rather pay the money in your post as it looks like it would actually work. I think a string and both would suffice in a pinch or as a back-up in another photog bag.

You could always get a Larry the Cable Guy t-shirt and tear it into shreds and knot it up.  ;)

Steve, the LTCG t shirt would work.  Sometimes the simplest solution really is the best!

I would agree. Look at some of the flies we fish that produce good fish and how simple they are to tie.
