Got the Yamahammer Jet today
« on: October 30, 2006, 07:00:13 PM »
And all I can say about it is YEEEEEEEE HAAAAAAW. I’ve been stalking Ebay and various other places looking for just the right deal for over four years. It arrived in brand new un-started and un-scratched condition with a full 3 year factory warranty.
WWW.WestBoats.Com has a couple more of them for $3,800 if anyone is interested.

Then to top it off I found a brand new factory jet cowling for it on ebay for $50. I couldn't pass it up. I'll have a new cover for it if I ever decide to sell it or damage the old one which I’ve done on a previous boat. It retails for over $500 at a dealer.

I don't believe that dino poop story for one minute. The earth isn't that old, so no dino poop could be that old. Me and Leo leaned that from Caneybuff on Sunday. I forgot where he learned it but it was while he was eating lentil loaf and soy beans.  ;)

Mike, cool deal on the motor. I already have prop envy.

Yesterday, I was at the bottom. I was at the bottom of a valley, in the river. Then my eyes hiked up the mountains to the snow capped peaks. I thought, "When I am at this lowest place I can be, standing in a river, everything is looking up."
