Ok sorry guys little late on the assignment.  One of the things that makes the most interesting photos is unique light.  the first assignment I will propose is lighting.  I realize that this is a very broad subject, the only parameters I will set is that it be natural light and very little post processing.  This is open to everyone with a camera you don't have to have $1k plus in equipment I have seen some great photos from point and shoot.  I think it will be good to have 2 weeks to complete each assignment.  You can submit as many photos as you like (within reason) or narrow it down to one.  Looks like it will work out to be on the 15th and 30th of the month.

I in no way want to dominate this thing so everyone be thinking of a challenge and someone else can present the next one on the 15th.

Mike, not sure if you need to give a primer on how to post pics, feel free to chime in.

Look forward to seeing the pics.

If anyone has an issue posting pics just let me know.

Lawnman thanks for heading this up it should be fun. I have an image in mind already.

I'll start a new thread for people to post the images.

Mr. Dummy here,

I need some clarification on the rules/guidelines, please.

Do the photos need to be taken during the month of the assignment or are we allowed to dig back through our stash and pull out the ones that didn't get culled?

They way I read it now, is--Take some photos between now and the 14th with unusual light.  Then on the 15th we'll have a new assignment.

Zat right?
Yesterday, I was at the bottom. I was at the bottom of a valley, in the river. Then my eyes hiked up the mountains to the snow capped peaks. I thought, "When I am at this lowest place I can be, standing in a river, everything is looking up."
