Stones River 1/5
« on: January 05, 2009, 09:48:23 AM »
I fished the Stones on Friday evening and Saturday morning.   The fish were rising on Friday night, but I was losing daylight quickly after work so I didn't bother with waders and couldn't get to the fish.  So, Saturday morning I returned, wearing waders this time, but the fish were gone.  No action at all... nothing rising.

Were they below the bridge (river left) facing downstream when you saw them?

I have never fished for any of the urban stocking trout before with a fly rod. Are they just as fun as those on the Caney?

They are and can be super aggressive.
