Where you from? What you do? Welcome to the forum.

Mike runs a nice place here. I have learned much from these guys. I liked your post on the spawning fish thread.

Hope to see you on the river one day.

Ron
Yesterday, I was at the bottom. I was at the bottom of a valley, in the river. Then my eyes hiked up the mountains to the snow capped peaks. I thought, "When I am at this lowest place I can be, standing in a river, everything is looking up."

Hey Ron,
I've enjoyed reading some of your posts.
I grew up in East Tennessee wi/ 15+ yrs exploring stretches of South Holston, Watauga, and mountain streams.  College in Chattanooga--Hiwassee, Tellico, and Toccoa R's--  Lived for a season on the Henry's Fork.....now stuck in Memphis--fishing White, Norfork, and Little Red(mostly).

Fresh out of dental school doing residency for complicated treatments and implants.
Moving back east to Knoxville or Tri-Cities this summer and can't wait.

Haven't fished much on Caney or Cumby, but looking forward to it.

How about yourself?

(Hey Mike A., no jet boat yet....dental school cleaned me out and left me wi/150K of school debt.  Hike and wade mostly, Outkast pontoon in swift stuff, and banged up, cheap Bass Pro Shops canoe to paddle Little Red and Norfork----I'll be looking for advice on boat choice and rod building in the next few years for sure....no $$ now)

TW-My wife is a native of Greenville. I'm a New Mexico native that got here by way of Colorado, Arizona, Texas. It was a long drive.  ;D

Lifelong angler, but new to fly fishing myself. I can still count on one hand the number of times I've been to the Caney.

Glad you found this board. Seppala is around here somewhere, sometimes. He's a Knoxville resident at the moment.

Again, welcome.
