.....I'd rather go in the woods than be next in line after the carnage that's gonna be unleashed on that thing  :-X.

The more I fish the more I realize it isn t about the fishing.  The older I get the more I realize it is about the moments God has hand crafted just for me.

I'm in probably.  Can't make the weekend of 14th.  Might have an early morning meeting on 21st to go to so might not be there on Friday night.  I might be persuaded to bring a pit and do some 'Q for Sat. night.  Name your meat and chip in some $.  If I can be there Fri night and Sat. morning I'll play "good housewife" and do breakfast also.  That is if I'm not scheduled to be at the shop that day.

Mike if you want to do that I will make sure there is money to cover the expenses. We'll implement a small cover charge for those who plan to eat. From what I've heard about your cooking it'll be well worth it! How much per person do you think it'll take to cover it?

Mike,

I'm with MikeA.  That would be very cool.
Yesterday, I was at the bottom. I was at the bottom of a valley, in the river. Then my eyes hiked up the mountains to the snow capped peaks. I thought, "When I am at this lowest place I can be, standing in a river, everything is looking up."

It's bad timing for me to bring another west tenn crew over.  I'm headed to Venice, La with three buddies that weekend for some redfishing.... otherwise we would be there.

Yall have fun, I know you will.  Be careful with the duece sluice... I'm cautiously intrigued by such a thing.  Sorry I'll miss the campfire tunes... I'm sure your new material would make my sides hurt again Travis.  Gordie, please keep you wiener to yourself and everyone please make sure not to turn your back on Grumpy.

I look forward to seeing some of the photographic evidence...

Mike, that would be an awesome idea if we could pull it off. We will put the money together , no problem. I hope everybody will try to make this outing. I think it will be a good time, and it's always good to see everybody. Come on out and enjoy!

I think an event as important as this, all the fly shops should be closed. I bet you could tell your boss that all fly shop patrons will be at this event , and that it would be useless to open that day. ;D Hey, it's worth a shot. :-X :-X

Mike, if you can't make it or have conflicts let me know, I can help as well. I have a smoker and could do the work at my house that week.

As well, I will help with fundage.
