How far is to far
« on: December 30, 2008, 04:05:20 PM »
My friend and I have been getting cabin fever down here in Huntsville so we started looking at plans  a, b, and c  finally settled on d thanks to the near constant generation of the Elk Caney Sispey . The fishing was good almost very good . We had pretty consistant luck all day with white streamers and an assortment of nymphs. We even saw a coulpe of winter stones flying around so maybe they will be coming off here in the next few weeks.
The more I fish the more I realize it isn t about the fishing.  The older I get the more I realize it is about the moments God has hand crafted just for me.

I'm going to roll the dice here and guess Hiwassee.

I had a late Christmas present trip there on the 27th and my results (or my clients) sounded very similar.

IT's good to see some round bellied fish taking advantage of those shad.
Goo Goo Ga Choob!

I'd like to go where the pace of life's slow. Could you beam me somewhere, Mister Scott?

by the way.....

IMHO, no distance  is too far if it means time on the water with friends and family.
