Unfortunatley it isn't possible to do that. On the Caney, you really can only find one day that is anywhere close to accurate. The Corps site will post a pre generation schedule that is 5 days future to current date but it isn't reliable at all. Your best bet is to have an alternative plan for his visit and if the generation gods are not favorable, you will have a back up. you could look at the Elk river possibly,or the Obey but even they are suybject to the same conditions. Under current lake levels and river conditions in the Cumberland, and considering that we still have a lot of wet weather in front of us I would look to one of the guides on this site that has a powered boat (like Mikes Supreme) and maybe plan on throwing streamers if all else fails and wading isn't possible. Believe me, there are lots of us here that would LOVE to see a few days of wading time on the Caney in late February, early March. Good luck and I hope you do get the time on the river!
