TFTN Photography class?
« on: February 05, 2009, 07:57:33 AM »
Would you guys be willing to get together for a day to tutor some of us on how, what you look for  to take pics one day?
This digital thing is really challenging me, i guess because i haven't done any photography in a lomg time, i seem to have forgotten most of everything & the digital part is really throwing me for a loop.
I'd be up for a hike in the woods, a day on the water , even indoor stuff, any interest?

Sure thing Grumpy....

Just meet me at the river with your drift boat.  Let's row down the river, and every large fish I catch, I'll coach you on how to use my point and shoot ;D ;D ;D ;D

I could use some photo lessons myself...only thing is, I can't invest in one of them Fine cameras....YET ::)

Good luck in your photographic journey.
Can't wait to see your pics once you start snapping away.

I like to walk around Radnor.  Good place to get your feet wet in nature photography.  Call me when you want to go.

Maybe the gathering would be a goodplace to do it?
Wherever the standard of freedom and Independence has been or shall be unfurled, there will her heart, her benedictions and her prayers be.

But she goes not abroad, in search of monsters to destroy.

She is the well-wisher to the freedom and independence of all.

Well it depends what type of class everyone wants. Do you want the basic sit in the class talk or do you want the lets go out in the field and shoot type class. I guess from all parties interested give me an idea of some skill levels and what it is you look to get out of a basic photo class and I can see what needs to be done from there.

Where's the ON button ???

What i would like to do is in the field, basically how you set the camera up to do shots other than setting it on Auto & push the button.

Any idea on a day? Let me know some ideas. I have most Saturday's open!!!

I could also do it during a weekday but I would have to leave by 11:30 am. By the way the light is to high in the sky by then anyway.. It makes for very harsh, flat light.. Not very flattering.
