Old Hickory Lake 3/10

Went out yesterday morning until about lunch and had a great day catching numerous fish. We used foxy jigs about a foot under small bobber and caught about 10 keeper crappie but returned them to the water. The colors they ate were white and then an olive w/black jig head. A school of yellow bass came through our area a couple times giving us some fun. Then about a 2 pound spot fell victim to a chartruse roadrunner and a little bit bigger largemouth got taken on a blue/pumpkin jig combo. Also on that jig combo, I stuck something real big near a sunk tree but never got it turned up and eventually it took me towards the channel before coming off. I sure wish I could have seen that fish though. Definitely intend on heading back there early one morning to see if she may be back.   ;)

The time is upon us to get out there and hit it hard!
