interesting article about "brownlining" (urban fishing in less than stellar water for less than stellar fish) on the front page of today's Wall Street Journal today. Check it out if you can. I'll try to find a link...

That reminds me of fishing at a pay lake in So CA, Laguna area I think. Elbow to elbow, stocked trout and I think they had tagged fish that if you caught one you won money or something. It was crap.

There are commercial real estate developers somewhere having orgasms at the idea that "brownlining" could catch on and give them an excuse to pave over what little natural space is left.
