Ritz camera owns them, was told today by the manager of one of the 3 stores I frequent, all 141 Boaters World are closing, Ritz took chapter 11, sold off the boat stores to a liquidator.

As I recently said on another forum, Boater's World had a tendency to be pricey, though I will miss them because sometimes they had things that nobody else in town had.

Everything in their store is between 10% and 40% off right now, so hit it one last time before it goes.

I agree with you BD, I only go there for stuff I think I have to have that I can't get anywhere else.

Figure I will check with them Monday on their selection of anchors.

Yeah, but when I go to Bass Pro, I have to factor in an extra $160 on the purchase prices to account for the speeding tickets I get on Briley Parkway.

This is regarding the store in Madison (rivergate area). If I am not mistaken as I passed today it said the store will be closed 4 days.

Also beware of some price increases for the "sale" price. I was in there today and there were several items I looked at with % off of a staped on price tag only to have the original below it contain a lower price blacked out.

It happens in business just buyer beware.
