Old Hickory Lake report 3-22-09
« on: March 22, 2009, 09:23:24 PM »
Fished the last couple hours of daylight today.  Primarily went to catch a bunch of panfish.  Fished close to Shutes branch the whole time.  Caught a large number of bluegills and warmouths.  Managed a few largemouth bass and several yellow bass.  Main fly of the day was a black/copper wooly bugger.  But, also caught a lot on a hopper and a rubberlegged nymph.  I was rather surprised they were hitting topwater.  Was great to get out, hope everyone got out too.
