Tellico Area
« on: April 09, 2009, 08:48:49 PM »
I'm looking at weekend trip to Tellico and surronding streams next Friday (4/17) or the following Friday (4/24). The fishing there is usually good this time of year. Anyone heard reports lately that you can share?

Thanks

Take your favorite dry flies and have fun.

Nymphing the big river would be productive with anything from match the hatch mayflies and caddis to big stones.

Afternoon with sun on the big river can see hatches and dry fly action, all day on the smaller tribs should give up fish on dries. A dry with a bead dropper will work well.

Parachute adams in different sizes could be all you need all weekend.  ;)
