Memorial Day weekend offered the perfect weather to get out and chase some smallmouth on the local rivers.  Crystal and I had a great time floating in clearer than normal low generation water.  It made the catchin' a little tougher, but we still caught several nice fish.  On most occaisions, you could see the fish take the lure/fly:

Floatin' and wet wading solo Saturday Morning:

Monday, midday float with Crystal:

All in all we had a great time.  If we would have started early, or stayed til dusk, no telling how much better it could have been.  Fish turned on great in the last 30 minutes as we neared the ramp in the evening.  I must have landed about 15 on the fly when the light got low.

Can't wait to get back at it.

I am jealous, but I get home on Monday, and I promise I will be chasing some myself.

BTW, I like the cigar pic.
