Did anyone see the Nat Geo special on Taimen?
« on: August 04, 2009, 08:01:44 PM »
MAN that got my blood pumping. It's been an awesome summer and summer is, and will always be, my favorite time of the year. But, there's something special about the Fall. For me it’s the crisp clean air that reveals all the skies true colors and carries all the new smells like turning leaves, fields of hay waiting to be rolled, waders, wading jackets, wools socks and gloves that haven’t been washed in three years. :o That hint of cold and frost in the morning, followed by a nice sunny warm up during the day.  Blotches of every color dot the hills and limestone bluffs. Getting all tucked into some nice warm wading gear and immersing yourself into the whole environment with good friends. Cussing that wind that takes a well initiated 50 foot cast and blows it back at you dropping it at your knees. Heavy shot laden rigs with giant indicators. And Brown and Rainbow Trout!! Yea, I can't wait till Fall!

Here's hoping we have some fishable water, specially for us non-motored folks!

Mike, I love that "frosty reels" shot - that one gets my blood pumping, I love fishing mornings & evenings like that!

I fully agree Mike and that is one of the reasons I like seeing football on TV because fall fishing is right around the corner.
