I have an ancient 14' jon boat with a 15hp electric start Evinrude outboard.
I would like to add stick steering and remote outboard control (start/shift/throttle control). A local boat dealer quoted me $1928 to install the official Evinrude kit, which seems pretty stiff to me.
Can anyone recommend an affordable after-market kit that I can install myself?
