I heard last night they were looking for the body of a kayaker on the Obey. Anyone know any details?  :(

1st time since 1989 & the lake is only 5' above summer pool. I was looking at TVA'S site the other day, every tailwater in the state pertaining to trout is running water.

this may be what you heard about: http://www.crossville-chronicle.com/local/local_story_133132311.html

64 years, old paddling the Obed in high water, alone, survived on a rock overnight. That guy is my Hero.
Wherever the standard of freedom and Independence has been or shall be unfurled, there will her heart, her benedictions and her prayers be.

But she goes not abroad, in search of monsters to destroy.

She is the well-wisher to the freedom and independence of all.

She is the champion and vindicator only of her own.
