Honda Marine
« on: March 24, 2006, 10:59:13 AM »
After much internal struggle over a Jet 2 stroke motor for the new RiverHawk or a nice quiet four stroke, Ebay helped make the decision. I bought a 2005 brand new 15hp Honda. This is my first four Stoke and I am really excited about all the advantages they offer, mainly quiet operation. No more oil mixing, greater fuel economy, 15 amp charging system, and almost no pollution. I have never owned a Honda outboard but my thinking was you can’t go wrong with them.

Anybody have any experience with Honda Marine?

No experience with them, but that's cool news!  It's bound to be a great combination.
Yesterday, I was at the bottom. I was at the bottom of a valley, in the river. Then my eyes hiked up the mountains to the snow capped peaks. I thought, "When I am at this lowest place I can be, standing in a river, everything is looking up."

Mike,

I have a '05 9.9 Honda Four stroke on my B-60 and I absolutely love it.  Quiet operation, no smoke, starts on first crank (usually).

Have fun and enjoy! ;)

I got the engine the engine yesterday. I filled it with gas and oil and it started on the second pull. First pull every time after that.  ;)
