Water Release
« on: October 14, 2009, 03:23:08 PM »
TVA has begun to release 1000 CFS on the Elk, however the website still says:

"Tims Ford Dam will be spilling and sluicing until further notice."

Just an FYI to be careful.

Good to know, thanks David.
Wherever the standard of freedom and Independence has been or shall be unfurled, there will her heart, her benedictions and her prayers be.

But she goes not abroad, in search of monsters to destroy.

She is the well-wisher to the freedom and independence of all.

She is the champion and vindicator only of her own.

Shucks!
I just got back from an out of town trip and was planning on going tomorrow.
I imagine that 1000 cfs would be a little high for wading.
I really liked fishing the 470 cfs.

I'm going somehow, somewhere tomorrow, might even run the jet boat up into the basin and anchor down and fish. ;)
