TVA has begun to release 1000 CFS on the Elk, however the website still says:
"Tims Ford Dam will be spilling and sluicing until further notice."
Just an FYI to be careful.

Shucks!
I just got back from an out of town trip and was planning on going tomorrow.
I imagine that 1000 cfs would be a little high for wading.
I really liked fishing the 470 cfs.

I'm going somehow, somewhere tomorrow, might even run the jet boat up into the basin and anchor down and fish.
