The supreme has been immersed in Trout water!
« on: December 09, 2006, 08:38:01 PM »
Bill P and I took advantage of the warmer weather today and took the Supreme on her first Caney Fork run. All I can say is any buyers remorse I had is now long gone. This is one shallow running SOB! Ankle deep (3 or 4”) will do just fine on plane and not much more then that just floating. Very rarely have I been as pleased with the overall performance with a boat as I am with this one. Rocks and grass aren’t near the concern I was lead to think they would be. The advantages of a jet in a shallow river far outweigh the disadvantages. I’ll always post honest opinions so if I encounter problems later on I’ll post about it. Right now I'm as happy as I’ve ever been about a new boat. It really is, as they say in AR, the Ranger of river boats.

It’s Hard to fish with this toy still begging for a run especially when the fishing is slow. I posted a report in the Caney forum.

Hell that boat is a bus!!!! what a great river boat, has all the space that anyone could ever need.
When we put the boat in I knew it was going to be a fun day,the top of my boots were out of the water and the supreme was just floating around as pretty as you please.when we planed off the front of the boat barely even came up and going up the river i was looking over the side at the water and was blown away at how shallow we were running. No shit we were in 3 inches or less .Mike I had a great time but next time we need to find the boats limits on water depth(we had to be very close to it today).

Mike,

Your boat is laid out just like the J & S I rode in, the Supreme looks to be finished to a finer degree.

Grumpy,

Bet they will put you on the order list, if they made one that would fit on the Elk, I'd be making a trip out that way, dang things will float in a tea cup.
