3 wt line recommendation
« on: January 13, 2010, 03:05:13 PM »
In anticipation for a Spring trip to East TN, I want to replace the line on my 3wt and would like some recommendations. Currently, I have Orvis Wonderline (1st gen) on the spool and it is time to replace it.

Will be pairing it with a Scott STS 7.5 foot.

I absolutely love the Orvis Wonderline on my 8ft Scott 4wt.  I have not found anything that I like better...

I might see if Grumpy has some strung up I can try.

I like my 1st Gen Wonderline ok but it has memory coil issues that they supposedly resolved in subsequent generations.

Oh now that is not fair. Playing to a man's weaknesses.

Let me check my schedule when I can get down there.

Which generation line are you throwing Todd?

It's the newest one - is it Gen. 3?

I will be at The Outpost Armory on Monday, can drop it by your work if that is possible or could leave it where I stashed the Ale  ;)
