Hit the plant with Sam today and had a ball. They were not running full bore but the fish were very cooperative.

Great day to be out.  :)

Wish you could have been there. The new 'Coon fly was the trick for sure.  ;)

Only been out once this year, but the skippies seem to be running bigger than the last couple years. I weighed a couple on my digital scale that went 2.25lbs. Those are 5 lbers to a lot of the hybrid and striper fishermen that guess the weights of their fish! :D
Also caught some 6" skippies that looked like alewives. I need to get back out there with the 2lb ultralight again. Those bigger skippies really burn drag on the light line.
