My brother works for a local Police Department and he sent me this. Not sure if its for real or not but considering where it came from I think it is. What I don't understand is how the driver can claim ownership of the deer. I would think TWRA would be entitled to the $50,000. Of course that might open them up to all kinds of law suites.
This is a deer that was struck by a vehicle last week in Pikeville, TN. It is a
43 point buck. The largest on record for TN. Bass Pro Shop offered the driver
$50,000.00 for the carcass. I thought you would like to see it...
