Mediocre Spring So Far...but good things to come
« on: March 29, 2010, 01:08:50 PM »
Man,
I've never busted my tail for a fish so much as this spring season.  From lethargic smallies, bottom hugging trout, no show muskies, and stubborn walleyes holding in the lake...
I've been getting my arse handed to me.

Sure enough, my brother was the closer on Saturday night, landing 4 walleyes over 18" and one over 23".  He fished  the closing shift after I left, 2-5AM.

I have a feeling it's about to bust open with this clear weather warm front and big moon.
I hope to hear some good reports from everyone as it gets good.

You know the older this year gets the more it seems that the bite is off somewhat everywhere for basically every type of fish.....or at least they're not doing the usual things in the usual places!    It's the El Nino pattern!  ;)
