Nolichuckey River Scenes
« on: April 23, 2010, 11:52:28 AM »
My new home river.  She's a steep-banked, limited-access, beautiful, wild/dangerous, rapid mountain river that flows through steep gorges, and pools into flat farmland.

Crystal and I have ventured out to explore some of the nearby stretches in search of early season muskies.  Although we haven't figured them out...I know they're there.  Most of the time, a plastic jon boat slid down a steep muddy bank is the only way in.

With the warm season settling in, the smallmouth should be biting soon.  ;)

I LIKE IT.
Wherever the standard of freedom and Independence has been or shall be unfurled, there will her heart, her benedictions and her prayers be.

But she goes not abroad, in search of monsters to destroy.

She is the well-wisher to the freedom and independence of all.

She is the champion and vindicator only of her own.
