Elk Is Improving

Fished Ferris Creek and the Hwy 50 area yesterday and had my best day so far this year. Not a great day, but a good day.
The brown trout were smaller than usual (for the Elk), and the rainbows a little larger that usual; all stockers.
Now don't everyone head down there at once as I have been enjoying the solitude.

Update: The Elk was improving.
Very slow this morning.
Again, I had the whole river to myself.
Only caught one brown in two and a half hours of fishing.....but it was the biggest brown that I have caught this year, so well worth my trip down there.
