Mongo Rainbow on a 1 Weight!!
« on: March 30, 2006, 10:03:43 PM »
I am uploading pics now via dial up. :'( of a nice Rainbow I caught today on my 1wt SLT. I headed east this morn to fish some new water. After a drive and some asking around I found a nice little spring creek. I caught many stockers and one real bruiser.

Here it is!

Just kiddin,, but hey it was a wild Rainbow something or other.

Naaah that isn't it either.

This is it!

Notice my new net I picked up at Fly South yesterday. The net is 19 inches from end to end and this guy was hanging off the end by several inches.

That's a nice fish, Mike. I like your photo work. The mayfly picture, in particular, is great.

Just a rank wannabe amateur but I do love trying to capture whatever the hell it is that attracts me so strongly to those magic waters. Glad someone else enjoys it.
