Question About A River Hawk
« on: June 11, 2010, 07:48:56 PM »
Does anyone know if it is possible to repaint a River Hawk?  I am going to buy a used one and was wondering if it was possible to repaint one.  Would calling the factory be any help?  Thanks for any info.

Yea you can paint it no problem.

WHere do I get the paint?  Should I order it from the factory?  I would like to go back witht he original paint.  I have access to a body shop and they will paint it for me.  They can also let it bake if that is helpfull.  Thanks for all of the help.

I am nowhere near any kind of expert on boat painting, but Riverhawks and other fiberglass skiffs are generally painted with gelcoat, right?
