Clients.

I rarely ever do client trip reports but sometimes doing this gig lets me meet some really great people and this Fri and Sat was one of them. I met a old salt from down south who was Tarpon fishing location x before it was location x. He's shared a boat with most of the greats in this sport like Flip, lefty, etc. Even did a little surgery on Lefty a few years ago. He's fished all over the world and caught all the fish that still swim through my dreams.  He was just a genuinely pleasant fellow to share a boat with and reminded me of me in a few years. Just another on a long list of great people I've had the pleasure of befriending over the years. What a job...

ohh yea,, We did make it happen, but it was a little slow with the heatwave.

We're going to try to get Lefty to come visit if he's up to it.

Great that you can enjoy days like that with people like that.
Many folks think your guide job is a piece of cake, but I beg to differ.
So, it's nice to know you get a few good ones along the way.

It's work alright and there are times when I'll pass on a trip because I can tell it'll be too much work. ;D The friendships I've made along the way are what keeps me doing it. Would have never met these fine folks had I not been the "guide".
