The wife came down and spent the week with me...felt like we were dating again
Anyway, she's a voracious reader and she mentioned something about one of her current selections being about the New River. It's not necessarily about fishing, but though it might interest some who've fished it.
The book is called Far Appalachia, Following the New River North. Written in 2001, the author is Noah Adams. Believe he's from NPR.

The little I was able to read before she left, gave me the impression that it would fit my taste...when I have time to read again.
