Playing with off camera flash
« on: October 22, 2010, 09:49:02 PM »
Should have had her look at the camera... I'm learning.

Wherever the standard of freedom and Independence has been or shall be unfurled, there will her heart, her benedictions and her prayers be.

But she goes not abroad, in search of monsters to destroy.

She is the well-wisher to the freedom and independence of all.

She is the champion and vindicator only of her own.

I agree with grumpy I like the softer light on the first one better. I think I like her looking away it brings a certain feel to the pic
The more I fish the more I realize it isn t about the fishing.  The older I get the more I realize it is about the moments God has hand crafted just for me.

Agree on the first picture. I like the softness much more. As well, with her looking away you do get a more artistic feel as opposed to a portrait feel. Just depends on what you were targeting.

Either way, nice.

Yep first one is a go for sure, good job in controlling the flash shadows and capturing a good mood shot!
