Picked one of these rods up from CT a couple of weeks ago and finally got to fish with it.
Seems to be a great rod for nymphing as it mends a scientific angler DT easily and does not mind casting with split shot. Action is slow and matches my casting better than fast action rods. Cork and reel seat is where Cortland cut corners, but this only makes the rod a better value for the price. Looking forward to fishing this on the Caney in the coming year.
